A realistic evacuation drill that tested the evacuation plan in practice.
The organisation had an evacuation plan on paper, but it had never actually been practised. They wanted to know whether the response team and the staff really knew what to do.
Together with the response team we prepared a realistic scenario and carried out an unannounced evacuation. We looked at the alarm, the role of the team leader, the assembly point and the flow of people.
The drill exposed a few points for improvement in communication and signage. In the evaluation we made concrete recommendations and tightened up the evacuation plan.

BHV-Weesp supervised a realistic evacuation drill at an office location in the region. We tested the evacuation plan in practice, looking at the alarm, the role of the team leader and the flow of people to the assembly point. The drill produced concrete points for improvement, which we recorded in an evaluation.
